Gubbe was so promising kitten that we simply had to keep him. Gubbe has superb ocicat look with well developed squarish muzzle, beautiful eyes and excellent ears. But only when you get to know him, you understand why he is so precious to us – he has the sweetest character. Gubbe has sired three fine litters, our Fire and Air litters plus one for cattery Somalinnan. Now he has retired and is waiting for his grandchildren to be born.

Ansa is our dear chocolate spotted energy burst, very active even for an ocicat… She is very very smart and knows how to open all doors, drawers, cupboards etc. so we are forced to install all kinds of children’s safety locks all round the house. Ansa has a funny voice, a bit raspy and nasal, and she loves to sometimes chat quite loudly. When she feels like it, she comes and curls up in our lap, but only when she herself so decides. Ansa has mothered the Wood Litter but now she is sterilized and enjoys her life with her dear sister Nasu, and the rest of us. We would like to thank you, Topspot breeders Maija and Sven Markelin, for Ansa and Nasu, our first ocicats!

Nasu should have been named Nasuada The Gentle – she is for sure the nicest and softest ocicat female in the world. Nasu loves to lie on her back, someone gently scrathing her belly. She also loves food, which has to be controlled by us humans, otherwise she would get too heavy. In the summertime Nasu loves to go out with us on a harness and a leash, and she is an expert in catching flies outdoors. Nasu has mothered the Metal Litter and now she enjoys her days as a sterilized female, with her almost-identical-sister Ansa. Maija and Sven, we are ever grateful to you for introducing us into ocicat world by giving Nasu and Ansa to us.
